Profiled Douglas fir sawn timber for specific uses: decking boards, chalet beams, posts and half-lapped planed timber
The planing facility, equipped with a planer and a profiling machine, can supply planed timber sections, including large thicknesses (thicknesses up to 300 mm, widths up to 500 mm), and machine profiles to produce decking boards or components for interlocking chalets.
For the production of decking boards, Scieries du Centre selects high-quality Douglas fir timber: after sawing, the pieces are planed, surface-grooved and profiled for easy assembly.
The sawmill offers batches of decking boards made exclusively from heartwood (without sapwood).
Chalet beams are available with several tongue profiles to suit all construction styles.
